Editorial Policy

Wasatch PPF publishes practical paint protection film guidance for Utah drivers. The purpose is to help readers decide whether PPF fits their vehicle use and, if it does, which panels and coverage level make sense. We consider exposure, driving habits, vehicle type, paint condition, appearance preferences, ownership horizon, maintenance expectations, and budget. More film is not automatically the better recommendation.

How we select and use sources

We match the source to the claim. For film-specific or time-sensitive information, we use current primary documentation such as manufacturer technical sheets, warranty terms, care instructions, and official product pages. This is especially important for details including finish, stated topcoat properties, care guidance, and warranty coverage.

Manufacturer and supplier statements are attributed to the company or product making them, not presented as independent findings. Secondary sources and owner experiences can add context or identify practical questions, but they do not replace primary documentation for product specifications or policies.

Research, judgment, and documented firsthand work

Our articles distinguish among documented research, supplier statements, editorial judgment, and documented firsthand work. A product discussed in an article is not automatically a product used by Wasatch PPF. We do not claim particular film inventory, credentials, testing, customer outcomes, warranties, or years of experience unless those details are supported by supplied documentation.

Recommendations explain the tradeoffs behind the conclusion. PPF is treated as risk reduction, not a guarantee against every chip, scratch, or impact. When partial or targeted coverage is the more sensible fit than full-vehicle film, we will say so.

Artwork, documentary material, and disclosures

Editorial artwork is presented as illustration, not evidence of a specific installation, customer vehicle, or test. Documentary photographs, demonstrations, data, and other source material should be identified by their source. Sponsorships and material commercial relationships are described when documented, with relevant disclosures attached to the affected content.

Corrections

We correct material factual errors when reliable evidence shows that published information is inaccurate or outdated. To request a review, email contact@wasatchppf.com with the article URL, the statement in question, and supporting evidence. We assess the claim against the most direct and current available sources, then update or clarify the article when warranted.
